The idea is great tho I don’t like going back again and again the same route only to die because I touched something deadly. I think adding lava particles or something to indicate that this differently colored block is deadly would be amazing. Also, what is that one button in the menu?

First, thanks for playing the game. 

Second, I was planning on adding a better checkpoint system or making it less tedious but ran out of time to do so (Thanks time zones) but the feedback really pushes how important that would have been. Level design is an area I’m looking to improve on as well as creating meaningful and interesting levels was far harder than I thought it was going to be going in.

Thirdly, I’ll definitely look into Godot’s particle system for my next project or jam, hopefully prevent a repeat of this with it not being that obvious.

Last, I’m assuming you’re referring to Button 3. It does nothing. It was something I added because I wanted to menu to look neater and I ran out of time to make it do anything. In short, it’s a joke button.
