First impressions: I appreciate the portrait arts being designed with Big Hearts and Big Assets but also clearly not sexualised at the same time

The choice to have multiple artists with wildly different styles on board was a daring one, but in the end all of the artworks showcased were very nice and did not detract from the overall experience.

I really like the writing on this one - it tackles some deep topics while also maintaining a lighthearted and accessible form (writing style? presentation)? I liked the blackjack minigame and how it ties in with the chapter's theme and story, but the rhythm minigame feels less coherent even if the connection is there. Maybe having multiple songs with increasing difficulty as Raiko and Shou learn the power of singing your heart out together? Also, the cutscene at the end of Blackjack didn't emphasize the feeling of "risk" enough. Having Shou pull a 10, and then a 8, and then a 3 would've been much more of a risky and thematically fitting act. (Yes I know I mentioned this in the dev server to people already but just wanted to make it more public)

Also the rhythm game was badly calibrated, to the point that my inputs took an entire second to register and I didn't manage to hit any of the notes at all :(

Complaints aside though I think it's a solid game, wouldn't expect any less from a 18-person team!

Were you playing the rhythm game in windowed or at a non-1080p 16:9 resolution? That’s a bug that’s been fixed but wasn’t a part of the last published build.

Otherwise, you probably ran into a new bug unfortunately.

Edit: We apparently never built the game with the fix, a new version should be up in a bit.
