I am currently playing the game; it looks very interesting, but I feel you could not put instructions because you did not have time (quote: ‘The game is not finished.’). I advise you to put them on the game page! It is totally legitimate (several contributors do that) and would greatly help understanding and assessing your game! :)
I understood by myself (if I am correct) that white means victory and red means defeat, but I have trouble understanding how movement works exactly, and how the purple tokens work too. I feel some explanations could really do you (and your players) a great service!
I will still play a bit, and stay tuned in case you write down instructions. Please answer me then if you do, so that I am notified. :)
PS: ah, I think I understand the number on yourself serves as some kind of movement range, and the purple tokens may help you go further!
PPS: or maybe we are supposed to guess how things work by ourselves? That may be the case. I just want to be sure!
PPPS (24/07/2022): I see you have uploaded a final version; I am comparing a bit, and I think my view of the game still stands, so I would say that maybe the purple mechanic is somewhat cryptic (that may be just me). PPPPS (yeah, sorry about the Ps ;p): allright, I think I finally got it (using the final version): you have a range of 6 by default, each push of a purple blocks adds 1. I still think a more detailed tutorial phase would greatly help! Otherwise, an interesting game; the music (and final version voice) are especially spellbinding.
Managed to get a bug in the final version where my path would break by retracing my steps, just to let you know:
Also, if you reach a teleporter with a path of length 6, you get stuck (in the final version); is it expected?
Also managed to superimpose two purple blocks (2 and 3, near the center of the level).
