The game doesn't scale properly on my PC, so I can't see the options to choose, sadly.

The options aren't UI elements but are game elements.
You go over the object with the mouse and press E which will make your choice.
For the first choice, you choose one of the two mini characters, for the second part, you choose the house or the peasant.
Although for the second part the cursor is hidden so you need to move some to find the choices 😂
