That was seriously cool. Perfect use of the criteria. This could be a really successful phone game practically AS IS. I'm sure you got a bunch of other ideas for it if you were to develop it further... but I'd suggest hiring a composer for the music. Not just saying that because I'm a composer and I'd love to do that job for ya (I did the music and sfx for that ""Golf Cart Golf"" game and ""CathoBot"" in this Jam)... but more specifically... I know that the repetitive track would be the only thing holding me back from playing this again and again. solid game loop. super simple to learn what's going on. music is great, don't get me wrong... but I could see it being the FIRST thing to get annoying.

Hi Broson ! Really liked your music in "Golf Cart Golf", it made the game so relaxing, even if the "Dice Golf Ball" is frustrating to control :P
(will check out CathoBot in a few moment).

Also thank you for the feedback, the music was really just a last minute feature I added. In the future, if I do try to make this a fully fleshed out game, will definitely make sure not to neglect the sound design and music. Will also remember you and might even try to ask for your expert advice (and if I can maybe a commission?).

Thank you for the kind words, it's always nice to see your work appreciated :D

If you'd like we can talk about that on discord or something. I try not to put my payment agreements in comments because it varies from team to team. My discord is Bronsolo#4491 if you'd like to entertain the idea. But I'll tell you you'll find my rates more than agreeable.

Thank you! will definitely keep this in mind, unfortunately I do not have discord at the moment. I mainly created this Itch.io account just for the GMTK game jam. I currently am just trying to focus on learning game dev as much as I can at the moment. And trying to keep my self grounded and doing my best to improve everyday.

If I do go ahead and tried to make this a fully functioning game, will be sure to remember to ask for your help, as I am as far from a composer or sound designer as one can be. Thank you again :)

I'm totally on board with that mindset.
It took me 10 years to make a career in music; so much I had to learn.
Lately I've found that sometimes there's more value in having teammates instead of "clients."
