Track 1 is a good soundtrack for mindlessly slaughtering the hordes that stand in the way between you and becoming a God. A "B" section would be great to break up the monotony of the guitar riff.
Track 2 felt like an uncomfortable grind until you start closing in on your objective around the 2:30 mark. I love how the song starts out disjointed and slowly comes together while still evoking unease.
Track 3: the spacey sections feel like glimpses of the objective almost in reach, then back to spurts of grindy violence to get us there. Really creative juxtaposition.
Track 4 is chaotic. I love the slow polyrhythm drum pattern starting around 2:05, feels disorienting. I didn't enjoy the kick drums at 0:45 as much.
Overall good marks. I thought the pieces were cohesive and novel. Plenty of praise above! As for some constructive criticism, I felt there wasn't a meaningful resolution telling me how the game ends, except for the abrupt conclusion in "the beyond". I also didn't feel like the theme fit "runaway" as much as it did "run towards", but that's a minor criticism, all things considered.
