Very immersive feel in all tracks, somehow unsettling and unrestful. Really fits the theme well. I particularly liked The Beyond. Thanks for sharing!

Description
TO ETERNITY is an industrial metal album made for the OST Composing Jam #4. I imagined a game similar to how God Of War would play where the character you play as a character tasked to destroy something called Eternity, which is a portal to a void with the Elixir of Eternity, which gives you the power to become a god. I made the soundtrack in FL Studio 20. The first track, Sentinel March was made by recording the guitar first, similar to every other song besides Still Alive as the guitar in that song is actually a synth, and then composing the song from there I wrote a bass pattern that played a similar riff to the main riff of the song, and also wrote a synth bass riff playing almost the same thing. I made a simple drum beat to go along with the riff and then used that same beat again and slowed it down and put it in the background. And I added a few other synths throughout the song, and then followed a similar process throughout this song for the other songs.
Still Alive was made with the idea of an automated ambient synth throughout the whole song, with tribal drums playing along with it, and then I added more and more layers, and that’s how the song came to be.
Zero Gravity started off by recording guitar (same as Sentinel March and The Beyond) and then I made the spacey intro, and then built the song around the guitar.
The Beyond was composed semi-similarly, with guitar done first, but first in the mixing, I worked on the intro as a small callback to Still Alive, with a new bass riff that I have wanted to make for so long. And then I thought of the idea of structuring the song in 4 parts: Ambient, Heavier Ambient, Light Combat, Boss Fight/Finale. And I built the song around that idea.
I wanted to make more songs, but didn’t get the chance.
I hope you enjoy my OST!
Message from the artist:
A 4 song Industrial Metal album made for OST Composing Jam 4.
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
The story behind the songs is that the character is forced to run away from everything they once knew to embark on the journey to Eternity. I originally wanted to make an intro song called Runaway but didn’t get the chance.
