What a unique premise, very well executed. This has been the best execution of a 'loaded dice' premise that I've seen so far in the jam.
It was a great idea that there will always be one face one the die that you can't choose, it added a bit of tension when I was trying to trap them into those red spaces - I was never 100% sure that I'd be able to pull it off! I loved the risk/reward of waiting till just the right moment to screw em over!
As others have said, having to rage out all 3 felt like a more engaging way to play, as it forces you to risk more rolls to prevent other monsters from going on lucky streaks. Also, a skip button would definitely help liven the pace up.
I feel like there's some interesting places this could go, with the board game gaining new mechanics/rules each level and thus more opportunities to frustrate or accidentally envigorate the monsters. Speaking of the monsters, the art style and character designs were excellent! So much character jammed into this lil game, I especially loved the frantic tumbling animation of the dice.
Excellent work!
