I didn't really see the benefit of matching up the dice as I was still able to clear the board if I just had a few well placed hits. I really liked the idea of the duplicates all clearing but with the ball just moving so fast I found that matching and controlling what I hit was simply out of my control a lot of the time. I will say that I LOVE arcade games and this fits the bill so perfectly that even if all I was doing was smashing bricks and bouncing a ball I still had fun so I think this is still a very successful game.
