This is so lovely!! I enjoyed every second! I would love to play a full version of this on my switch or some other cosy console. The character designs are so amazing and the music fits really well with the art! Well done!

This game is great! I can definitely see myself playing a full version fo this game. I think it would be great if there was a layout change which allowed me to view more than one quest at a time. Clicking through them still worked out but it felt a little bit slow and the time pressure too great to be waiting for a quest to load through. Your visuals are amazing! Such a great vibe. Well done!
So so lovely!! Such a clever idea and you executed it really well! I also thought the call button was a mute button so I was searching for the call button in my first play through. When the the pop up mentioned "They're proud of you!" it nearly brought a tear to my eye. The music fits the game perfectly. This is definitely a highlight for me, well done!
Congrats on your first Jam game! It's a fun one! It took me a minute to work out what was happening. I think it needs a little more feedback for the player. I got to level two and then wasn't able to place the pins and I wasn't sure why. It took me a while to realise I had run out of gold. But this game feels great to play and I really like your interpretation on the theme! Good job!
A completely charming little game. This is definitely a highlight for me. Artistically beautiful, lovely writing, amazing take on the theme. You did so well and I have no suggestions or anything. I just want the full game available straight away as I can 100% see myself playing through in a whole sitting and then not knowing what to do with myself afterwards. Beautiful and amazing!!! Well done!!!
The game looks great! I came across a bug while the boss was explaining the game. The zombies were attacking me while he was talking so when the actual round started I was already at half health. That being said I also I think ocassional health packs would be great here. Overall I enjoyed your take on the theme and the presentation is amazing. Well done!
Cute game! I really liked the art, it feels really nice and polished. I also liked your take on the theme! Not sure if it was just me being unable to do it, but i think it would feel great if you were able to choose which skill was getting depleted. I also got a tad frustrated with the half health and the less damage, it felt a bit like I was being punished for being good at the game but that just goes hand in hand with the role reversal theme! But I think that it's got charm and that this would be really fun to develop post jam! I liked it! Great job.
I didn't really see the benefit of matching up the dice as I was still able to clear the board if I just had a few well placed hits. I really liked the idea of the duplicates all clearing but with the ball just moving so fast I found that matching and controlling what I hit was simply out of my control a lot of the time. I will say that I LOVE arcade games and this fits the bill so perfectly that even if all I was doing was smashing bricks and bouncing a ball I still had fun so I think this is still a very successful game. Great submission!
Agree with previous comments! Really ambitious. I was having some issues with using the bombs. The blast radius (I think) was not very great and I needed to keep the monsters directly next to the bomb and even if I tried walking around it to avoid getting attacked, if I had 3 or 4 monsters on me at the time I usually died while waiting for the bomb to go off. I think a shield would have been super handy to negate the effects of this as I was taking a lot of damage trying to keep the monster around the bomb for the two direct hits and this was usually my downfall. I think leaning into the throwing dagger as a long range weapon as well would give your attacks a greater variety. I still had fun! And the overall vibe was very cute, very Breath of the Wildy. It had a great polish for a 48 hour jam game! Well done <3
Such a great take on the theme. I don't actually think I've played a similar jam game so far. I found the controls slightly confusing and did spend a bit of time just sort of spamming clicks to try and make sense of what was happening, but the beeples are so cute and the music is so sweet that this didn't really upset me, especially given that a lot of joy was derived from just watching them go about their day. Very cute game! Well done <3
Cute concept. I think it would be great if there were more visual cues/adjusted UI design. The distance between my side of the screen and my enemies side felt too great and my eyes had to dart across the screen. I also think more visual cues for hits and damage would be great too. Neat little game though! Well done!
Great submission. Your visuals and music work really well together. I particularly enjoyed the dice combination aspect and how it would dictate how I moved around. It was a great little addition that gave the game some more depth and I appreciate mechanics that cater to different play styles. The smallest nit-pick is just that the screen shake when you absorb a dice feels a little unnecessary and I think the sound effect and the dice growing momentarily bigger is enough of a visual cue. I enjoyed playing this! Well done!
This is such a neat little game! Could easily play more levels. There was some great variance between the levels obstruction wise so it would be really cool to see what you guys would introduce 20 levels or 30. I managed to get myself completely stuck on level 9, with no way to roll myself out. So that was a problem. But the only other critique I had was the same I have with other iso games; wasd don't correspond with the movement directions, so there were a few moments where I made the wrong move because controls weren't completely intuitive. That said, it's a hard design problem to crack so I don't really think this matters too much in a jam. Well done guys, this is definitely I highlight for me!
Eep the art is very cute <3 That splash screen is lovely. I think your mechanics are simple and easy to understand. It did take me a few moments to realise that the bar next to the character corresponded to the bar on the left of my screen. I think changing the UI up a bit to bring that information closer to the point of focus might help with clarity. I also was able to play my way through without needing to use the information on the right side of the screen. This game has a lot of potential and you were able to achieve so much in 48 hours. Good job!
The tutorial level was a huge help! Great work including one. I really enjoy games like this, you guys created a really great game system in such a short time frame. I really like the constant reflection aspect where I had to weigh things up against my conscience. I did find that if I sent an incorrect card, there wasn't really any huge consequence if I also sent the correct card too. I think playing with that might be interesting! It might feed into your narrative really well and it's something that could expand this universe a bit. Great submission!
The art and music is so cute! Great job. This is also a really cool take on the theme. It was a nice change to have the dice stay unrandomised haha. I really liked the pacing, and I didn't find it very overwhelming. Just the right amount. It would be great to see this updated after the jam with things like more unusual orders from customers. Great submission, well done!
I really enjoy the map changing randomly! And the overall art style was cute. I found myself getting stuck occasionally though. I think more visual and audio clues would give the player some idea whats happening. Things like different footprint sounds for different terrain etc. But of course, this is a game jam and time is very much of the essence. I also found the mouse panning speed quite slow. Cute game though! I did enjoy wandering around the map <3
So great to see another narrative driven game! I really love your art and design and I found your story really interesting. The first two levels were quite easy in that I didn't actually move at all; just typed. But I think you guys have a really strong concept here and it's insane you got this done in 48 hours. Good job!
This is such a great submission! You've created a very enjoyable game. I actually found that the enemy bullet drops happened so often that I was able to play the game like a regular shooter and only sometimes found myself taking advantage of that right click mechanic, which I was actually sad about because it's such a clever mechanic. All and all though this is a huge highlight for me! Great job! <3
