A very unique way to do a roll of the cie, though not really a roll of the die sin=ce well, you're rolling a snake instead. Which is an interesting twitch. although, onluy ort of rolling it and it being a twist. But it's definitely somehting new and unexpected which is always nice.
Ignoring some of the issues I ran into it's a nice twist on the theme and an interesting bit of strategy to trying to move along the map and hit certain buffs and not others. Which definitely adds to the possible strategy which is great.
Though I will say having utter control over how far you go is a little powerful if you can think about it for a second. But it also gives a lot more strategizing control and technically something is still rolling so.. should work.
Overall an interesting premise with a pretty decent gameplay loop which is nice.
