If they turn out to be safe then they will remain on itch and the developer can be noted and queried on why they recommend turning off malware detection. Some safe games can be detected as malware occasionally but this is usually an issue for the developer to either take up with a particular antivirus program or to fix the game itself so there are no more false flags
