okay, I'll do that. To me the best story elements is the MC figuring out what is going on with Hera's mob family and rebuilding friendships with the women. Simply hearing about Lily doing track when we know she said she did it and survived with no major problems and is not connected to any big revelations and managed to still be timid at work even after becoming confident in track..... so there's no big important info in her past. Not the shed light on the main mysteries.
I get that they wanted her to be fleshed out as a character. But Emma's backstory did that well for her. But Lily's has nothing to do with the MC or the problems in the story right now. It's just a parade of new characters you'll never see again.
I wouldn't mind romancing her, but your chances are few unless the MC is at work.
