An Interactive Fiction anthology with solid ambient music and well-themed graphics. The presentation and use of theme was pretty great.
"Bad Dog" was my favorite. The writing and characterization in "Bad Dog" is on point, and it's the only one to introduce an additional game mechanic other than branching choices: a "Trust" system. On top of that, it offers the most meaningful (i.e. character and resolution-driven) choices out of all the stories.
The trap choices in "Two Rings" were a nice touch, and for such a short scenario, felt like it had a ton of branching options. Though the writing was a bit stiff.
The other stories often had massive blocks of text with one option, which felt like it was turning the player into a simple reader. Though big points to "Visitor" for its suffocating atmosphere. Big Jackson vibes there.
