This is really good! This kind of game needs really snappy and responsive controls, and you delivered that (in most cases)! That level where you go right to the key and then back to the portal had me jumping in steps, which reminded me of the hotel in Celeste.

Made it out with 43 deaths, though not an insignificant number of them were due to the wall jump. Someone mentioned below that it is tricky to pull off, and I agree; though after a while I did manage to figure out a way to do it better: the classic wall jump is to jump into the wall and then away, but here, the best way seems to be to just be next to the wall and then jump, after which you press a directional button; is that the intended solution?

Also wanted to say that the quick restarts was a great idea for this game; without it, the game might have become tedious. The short levels helped with that as well.

Overall, an excellent game with great implementation. Fantastic work!

Hello! Thank you a lot for the comment.

It was my first official platformer game and the first time doing a wall jump. I wanted to give an impulse to the opposite side of the wall but I couldn't find a way to do it. I had to sacrifice it to have the horizontal controls I wanted.

I'll work on that for my next platformer.
