Hello,

Really great game.
The graphics were awesome.
Really good mechanics.

Maybe a timer plus a leaderboard could be added for more replay value.

GG

Have a nice day.

Great work! great polish, i liked this! the wall jump was quiet difficult for me, but thats just my lack of skill! great entry!

This game is for everyone who constantly jumps in MMOs :D

Great experience! One interesting thing is that when you die, you sometimes spawn a bit to the side which can make the level a bit easier.

Developer

Hello! Thank you for the comment. When you die you can still move that's why. I'll see what I can do with this issue in the post-jam version.

very dynamic and beautiful

Very good mechanic, and game overall!

Just had some troubles with the Double Jump, as it seems to be when the space bar is held, so it felt a little bit out of control sometimes.

Dying felt annoying, as once you died, you instantly go back, leading to multiple deaths in a row, when I didn't realise I died.

Other than that, very nice game !

That was fun. The controls are nice and responsive and the art is really nice.

I noticed a few bugs where the afterimages didn't appear, but nothing that ruined the experience.

Liked the ending too. GG

Developer

Hello! Thank you for the comment and can you tell me more about the but?

Submitted

It was mostly just the after images not spawning sometimes making fewer obstacles than there should have been. I had some problems with the wall jumping  a few times as well, but that may have only been me not understanding how to do it at first.

The limitation became a very solid mechanic for a puzzle platformer. Quite fun to play. GG

Adorable game! Walker's (I'll just call them that) sprites and movement make them feel very alive. The game just feels very fleshed out in general.

I had a bit of an issue with the wall jump but looks like I'm not the only one, haha. I am gonna blame some of my stupid 34 deaths on Walker jumping whenever the spacebar was held rather than pressed, but I think just jumping when the spacebar is pressed is a personal preference in my case!

Besides that, the game looks really pretty! Also appreciate the added death counter, immediately challenges me to keep my death to a minimum so I can brag about it. Don't know if 34 deaths is a good score, though!

Sadly, I'm gonna have to rate you 1 star on everything due to the amogus level (jk)

Developer(+1)

Hello ! Thank you and the Amogus level is a masterpiece to my point hahaha.

Developer

Hello! Thank you all for the comments.

I will work on a post-jam version to improve the wall jump and add a lot more levels.

I'm thinking about a level selector too.

Stellar jam entry! The controls, especially the wall jump, were pretty finicky some times, but the game itself was a blast!

Fun and cute game XD I totally died about 50 times

(jumping from walls somtimes feels diffucult tho)

Also used godot engine XD

This was a superb game! You totally killed it with matching the limitation. I've seen some other games that your previous steps affected you, but you really nailed it with the frame by frame mechanic. Your game looked great too, loved the whole perspective of the thing. Only thing for me was that the jump off the wall felt a bit too.. jumpy lol. Just like it would often do this really quick second double jump on a wall before I could even really respond. Ended up getting used to it though and learned to time everything to work within the system. So great job and great game you guys!

I love everything about this game. The cover art is great, the controls are fluid, and the art is simple but appealing. Fantastic work!

Submitted(+1)

Absolutely love this game! Simple concept, simple controls, used so effectively to make a concentrated game. Stunning, all and all.

This is great!  The concept is a great implementation of the limitation, and the artwork is super polished!  If you were to expand on this after the game jam ends, I would consider adding a bit more level variety, as I'm sure there are a lot of other cool things you could do with this concept given more time!

this game justified my trying to not touch the ground when playing any platformer game great submission

This is a pretty cool game, feels kinda empty (maybe have something to fill in the grey areas ?) and could use some music, but it's a nice game

Developer

Hello! There is actually music in the game and I didn't want to fill the grey part because while playing we mainly focus on the level.

I'll take notes for my next productions, thanks.
