FINALLY MADE IT!!!
… but the right-hand guy was turning continuously; was it the end?? I was wondering, so I moved left, and knocked some dice to the counter, which reset the game, so I hope I did not interrupt the ending sequence!! :o XD Otherwise, I will have to try again.
(And the volume of what the older man said was somewhat low, so I did not get everything!! Could you please tell?)
The important lesson is that you are absolutely right that you can get dramatically better at this game: when I first tried it, it seemed totally impossible, now, I am able to throw the dice diagonally right into the ashtray, to move some in some little pushes, and even sometimes to recover some from the left when I put too much power initially.
I spotted two things that were underhand (! pun not intended XD):
- Die 7 is a little shifted to the left, which is critical to know to place your hand correctly in time (the dice fall too fast, otherwise);
- Dice 8 and 9 follow each other quicklier than other dice, so you have to either get rid of die 8 fast, or throw 8 and 9 together (and I know I was able to throw correctly dice 1 and 2 together).
There is also a bug that happened at least thrice to me: a die falls right through the hand, as if there was nothing. ._. I am positive it happened, as I was already way more skilled in dealing with the dice.
I also have another piece of advice: the camera should show a bit more what is going on on the left, because sometimes, a die can land on the left brink of the ashtray, of you can have blundered and have some last-minute last-chance save-the-day hand maneuvering to do on the left — happened to me more than once!
I wish I had spotted all of this before, your game is richer than I originally thought… <:( Well, at least, now, I know and I can tell the world. :)
I do not know how many trials it took me, but it was many! XD Although I managed to start understanding how to manipulate the dice in only some tries, it really took me more to master the process and reach the end.
So, good (difficult!!) game! :)
