I seem to understand. You just don't like shareware games. I understand you perfectly, because most of them only simulate the game, in fact, they are a money transfer service. But there are super cool F2P games like League of Legends or Warframe. The f2p idea is perfect for games especially for adult games. I will explain my thought. When a player downloads a game, he does not know how much he will like it and whether it is worth his money and time. In an ideal world, the player should pay for the game after playing it, like a meal in a restaurant. Unfortunately, such a system is impossible, but there is a f2p model that is as close as possible to the ideal idea. It also clearly shows developers what players like and appreciate in their game. In a paid game on PC, if after 3 hours of gameplay you meet a fatal bug, no one will refund your money, or if you encounter another game problem, you will not get anything. In a free-to-play game, you can pay whenever you want. I will repeat that now I am talking about the idea of f2p, and not something that can often be seen on the store. At Like Heroes, we did everything based on the idea of a good f2p. And also f2p monetization allows the developer to develop the game more efficiently and for a long time if the community likes it. There is not a single paid game in the world that has received as much dlc as it does normal f2p game. We have mechanics that will speed up the progress of the player, but they are TOTALLY optional. And the players who bought the boost very quickly go to the area with other players equal to their strength. Yesterday, a player wrote to me who pumped all the characters to the maximum for free and received all the content six months ago. I fully agree that development in F2P games is very long. This is done for several reasons to keep the player, such as daily rewards, AFK bonus, etc., or to study the player and make him dream of resetting timers and moving on. Like Heroes has a mechanic of victory folders with agent cards, which opens for free after a while. The design of these folders is based on the desire to keep the player, unfortunately in f2p there is an element of competition with other games, however, these folders are not the main mechanics of obtaining resources for progress. Every time I test a game I don't use these folders, and I don't use premium resources over the amount a player can get for free either. However, in 6-8 hours I get to the very top of the game progress. This time is not enough to open all the content, the speed is much lower there, to get all the stories you will need about 3 month. But the game has complete freedom to choose which girl's content you want to watch. For this you do not oblige to raise the level of her. Players often do not need all 110 scenes and download literally half, and then continue to play solely for their own pleasure, because we have a good game. And we want to make it even better thanks to the feedback from new players. Development doesn't cost a lot of money, but it does cost money. We could make a f2p service with aggressive monetization and earn a lot, we could go our own way and save our soul. We believe that our path is honest and the players will appreciate it and support us.
