As in any FTP game in Like Heroes, there is an element of pay to win, it is insignificant, but I cannot deny its presence. Now we are remaking the economy to completely eliminate this factor.

I seem to understand. You just don't like shareware games. I understand you perfectly, because most of them only simulate the game, in fact, they are a money transfer service. But there are super cool F2P games like League of Legends or Warframe. The f2p idea is perfect for games especially for adult games. I will explain my thought. When a player downloads a game, he does not know how much he will like it and whether it is worth his money and time. In an ideal world, the player should pay for the game after playing it, like a meal in a restaurant. Unfortunately, such a system is impossible, but there is a f2p model that is as close as possible to the ideal idea. It also clearly shows developers what players like and appreciate in their game. In a paid game on PC, if after 3 hours of gameplay you meet a fatal bug, no one will refund your money, or if you encounter another game problem, you will not get anything. In a free-to-play game, you can pay whenever you want. I will repeat that now I am talking about the idea of f2p, and not something that can often be seen on the store. At Like Heroes, we did everything based on the idea of a good f2p. And also f2p monetization allows the developer to develop the game more efficiently and for a long time if the community likes it. There is not a single paid game in the world that has received as much dlc as it does normal f2p game. We have mechanics that will speed up the progress of the player, but they are TOTALLY optional. And the players who bought the boost very quickly go to the area with other players equal to their strength. Yesterday, a player wrote to me who pumped all the characters to the maximum for free and received all the content six months ago. I fully agree that development in F2P games is very long. This is done for several reasons to keep the player, such as daily rewards, AFK bonus, etc., or to study the player and make him dream of resetting timers and moving on. Like Heroes has a mechanic of victory folders with agent cards, which opens for free after a while. The design of these folders is based on the desire to keep the player, unfortunately in f2p there is an element of competition with other games, however, these folders are not the main mechanics of obtaining resources for progress. Every time I test a game I don't use these folders, and I don't use premium resources over the amount a player can get for free either. However, in 6-8 hours I get to the very top of the game progress. This time is not enough to open all the content, the speed is much lower there, to get all the stories you will need about 3 month. But the game has complete freedom to choose which girl's content you want to watch. For this you do not oblige to raise the level of her. Players often do not need all 110 scenes and download literally half, and then continue to play solely for their own pleasure, because we have a good game. And we want to make it even better thanks to the feedback from new players. Development doesn't cost a lot of money, but it does cost money. We could make a f2p service with aggressive monetization and earn a lot, we could go our own way and save our soul. We believe that our path is honest and the players will appreciate it and support us.
To the point, we need comments to get feedback from the players. If you go to our discord, you will see that we are always open to our community and are player-oriented as much as possible. That is why we do not have paywalls, unfortunately because of this, the earnings of the game are less than the cost of support. In order to develop the game, leaving it accessible to everyone and avoiding the use of predatory donation mechanics, we launched our Patreon, Itch and Redit.
Please tell me what kind of scam you are talking about.
Man, I understand your attitude towards f2p games and I support it. Like Heroes is different from games with hard monetization. The game does not require you to collect rare resources or fully upgrade your girlfriend in order to watch her content. Try playing Like Heroes. I would be interested in your opinion about our game.
LH is the first project of Spicy Team that we make according to our own design. Previously, we only dealt with outsourcing orders, and with more than 10 years of development experience, we decided that it was time to make The Perfect Game. We came up with the concept 5 years ago, when the whole office competed in Daimond Dash. But the decision to make adult game came when we sat down to work on the design and positioning of Hero Dash (that's what the game was called at the beginning). We were well aware that we had no experience in selling games and the best solution for us would be to give our 200% and make a cool game for a small (but pleasant) community than to try to fight with billions of dollars in advertising budgets of large studios on Appstore or Google Play. We started looking at different venues and suddenly discovered Nutaku with an amazing community of players, open to communication and grateful to the developers for their work. We tried all the f2p games that existed on Nutaku at that time, joined all the discord communities and looked at this new world as players. Often resented by hitting into paywalls or lack of energy or other blocking of the ability to play. Unfortunately, there are many such problems in games on Nutaku. But the very theme of the games, not bound by strict censorship, gave a new, intoxicating taste of freedom. We passionately wanted to make our game in the adult version. Development was easy and fast, we knew what we were doing and how to do it. Like Heroes was immediately liked by the guys from Nutaku. Everything went like clockwork until the release happened. In the first hours, tens of thousands of players came to the game server, and it could not stand it. Then there was a partial loss of progress of the players. And even 113 people completely lost their progress. We compensated for losses, finalized backup systems, optimized servers and did other work to support the game. Most importantly, all this time we had a connection with the players, and despite the problems associated with LH, they believed in us and supported us. This faith gave us the strength to work 36 hours without sleep. We just couldn't let down the trust of our community. Players offered us new mechanics and features for LH, they literally became part of our team. Having collected all the feedback from the players in order to finalize the game and make it as comfortable as possible for everyone. We realized that the changes are so significant and require a complete redesign of the game architecture and iterative changes will only bring us a huge number of temporary bugs and a huge amount of frustration for the players. So we came to the development of Like Heroes: Ultimate built around community interaction.
