This is a well known bug https://github.com/nesbox/TIC-80/issues/1910, unfortunately, it hasn't been fixed yet, sorry.
Good to know it’s being tracked. The issue doesn’t look exactly like the bug I’m experiencing: it’s about blank screen, but mine is about freezing the keyboard only (mouse and screen are still working).
But they are probably related. I hope fixing 1910 is gonna fix the frozen keyboard too.
