Streamed this yesterday with the dev present, but leaving this here for posterity:
- +Cute but very simplistic visuals that get the job done.
- +Suggestion: highlight in color the vital aspects of the text, as it gets very repetitive: the result of an event, if humans are pure/impure, etc.
- +I just realized, the title is very clever XD
- +The structure isn’t a bad idea of purging or reviving with a small randomized events by day. It’s a good core to expand and polish on.
- -The text in general is rough and needs a second cleanup draft.
- -There are way too few events.
- -The RNG is really crappy. It can get really nasty and put you ina doom spiral you can’t leave.
- -The fact that erasing or raising even the "wrong " souls has an effect on the RNG is not properly conveyed.
- -The text beeping SFX did get a bit annoying.
- -It’s too easy to lose and too easy to win. Erasing at all enters a doom spiral, even if you stick only to reviving pure souls. Likewise, just by raising mindlessly you will win. IT doesn’t feel like there’s a good balance or decision-making.
I’d say a good proof of concept, but the execution needs work.
