I'm at the mountain area and i need to reduce my corruption... how can i do that?

did you kill the Cloaked Figure ,if you did ，you will not find it Ծ‸Ծ

It just says mine that "the spring no longer glows and looks like a regular spring"

ok，it means you will never reset the value of COR to zero，unless you have a save file （before you drinking the spring）.

yes . when your COR sum >= 100（include before drinking the spring and after it）,you can't reduce COR with the spring..

200 charges at max. once these charges are gone you cannot reduce corruption anymore.
