ok, if you've installed another game on Steam, copy its libsteam_api.so you find in Plugins folder in the same folder of the game.Now it works.
Ok, I don't quite get what sense it makes to sell a Steam dependent game binary on itch. Maybe I play it on Windows...
and copy it into 32 bit library folder plugins/8x6
