Hi, I tried to play this game (v0.8.3.4a) via the itch desktop app. Some menu screen can be seen for a second then it bails out.

Starting via console I get the message

Unable to preload the following plugins:

ScreenSelector.so

Looking into the Player.log it shows that it's missing a lot of steam related stuff. I hope this game is supposed to work without steam?

ok, if you've installed another game on Steam, copy its libsteam_api.so you find in Plugins folder in the same folder of the game.Now it works.

Ok, I don't quite get what sense it makes to sell a Steam dependent game binary on itch. Maybe I play it on Windows...

and copy it into 32 bit library folder plugins/8x6
