yeah, the plan was a bit more ambitious than intended. It was a lot to put together in 48 hours, and the combo feature wasn't operating near deadline, so rip. Everything was in synch with the music and a part in my beat recognition pipeline kept hitting an edge case, which threw off the whole experience entirely. Also, programming jetpacks, grappling hooks, and all that jazz would take me more than the 48 hours I had lol. I do agree that there could be more going on, but the aim was to do it in 48 hours. I think I would be unrealistic with myself if I said I couldn't do better now, or that I could've done more. 


The crazy time was referring to me getting off of work on Friday and sleeping 5 hours until Sunday night, to wake up and go back to work on Monday. The most fun was had in it's creation haha :D 


I appreciate the feedback though! I wasn't necessarily going for full on 80s, but it was an inspiration. I dont do much visual stuff because I'm a coder. It was outta the comfort zone, so feedback is good to hear on that front. I guess I should pick a better sub set of songs to fit the theme, rather than trying to include more variety. Most people like it for a 48 hour jam, but maybe one day I'll make it something more
