I absolutely loved this game and I have so many thoughts now that I finished all of the endings!

First of all, it is a MUST to buy the DLC, it is absolutely worth it trust me, and while the free version does give you a little bit of taste of the world of Degraman and its characters, I highly recommend checking out the dlc as well. Second of all, if you are looking for an easy game to play, fluffy romance, comfort characters, happy endings or just anything close to a short and sweet experience, maybe this isn't for you. This game has a dark, rich story, sprinkled with humour yes, but i feel like it is something more mature than a regular visual novel.

Now that that is out of the way, i have so many things to say so I'm gonna start with the writing, story, the choices etc. I really loved the fact that you have to actually search for the truth in this game yourself. Every choice, every ending, every interaction done differently leads you to a new piece of information about the characters, the mc or the world in this game which was so fun to do. It made me actually pay attention to every detail, it made me come up with theories or even write stuff down so that i can keep track of the choices and the endings i wanted to achieve. I really appreciate the fact that the devs didn't put up any official walkthroughs for the game (except for one of the endings i believe), because i feel like this played a big part of me enjoying this experience. THE CHOICES ACTUALLY MATTER! The writing was very good, it did make me immerse into the story, the descriptions were detailed but not that much that made you lose track of the story which i really liked. There was a very good distinction between the characters when it came to dialogue, each one had their own unique way of speaking, they didn't all just blend into each other. The humor was amazing, right up my alley. The story is very interesting, intricate and unique. I like how it starts off almost like a parody of a visual novel, but then you get a wake up call,in this world nobody is nice to you for no reason. Another thing I really liked, was the fact that this game really made me question my morals, my view on some things, and yes i am mostly talking about the Vincent-Cassel thing, it was really interesting and to my surprise i actually really enjoyed it.

Now the characters. I'm gonna start off with the the mc. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the main character had so much personality. I played A LOT of visual novels and most of the mcs are very bland or annoying and for me personally, it's a bit issue because it distracts me from the story. But ya in this game, i really loved the mc there were so many things she did or said that were very relatable to me, it felt like an actual person. I must admit tho, she was very umm lustful sometimes haha but it was very funny especially the fact that she was very aware of that herself but couldn't help it. The mc's personality made every interaction with another character very enjoyable, and i really liked the fact that the loner route actually had two sides of her which lead to different experiences and different bonds with the characters. I really liked the fact that all of the characters had both qualities and flaws, lots of them, it made it harder for me to love them, they felt real, not the dreamy fictional type. My favorite character was Vincent and God, i loved the love-hate feelings he made me have towards him. Such a fun character, every time he appeared on screen i was excited to see what he was gonna say, if it would make me want to punch or hug my laptop haha.It was refreshing to see a character with this type of personality without being a tsundere. His anger, awkwardness, annoyance, they all make sense once you start learning things about him. I got to see soooo many sides of him throughout all the endings which only made me love him even more.

Now the art in this game is absolutely amazing. Not only you get sooooooooo many beautiful cgs, but you also get multiple sprites for the same character which is pretty rare and ALSO, they even have multiple outfits. The attention to detail in this game is astonishing. But my favorite part are the facial expression because there were so many, especially on Vincent oh my god. There was a different expression on his face for every slight change in his behaviour, his feelings. Turkey did a wonderful job ,i don't even dare to think how much time and effort was poured into the art. There was also such a big improvement since the demo and the art style that made it out into the final game turned out to be so beautiful and unique. The backgrounds were also incredibly beautiful and i loved the little details and references they had in them. I also got the ost because it's just so gooood, i've been listening to it on repeat, it just makes me immerse back into that world every time i listen to it.

I could still go on and on but i think this review is already way too long haha.My conclusion is that this was an amazing game and i can't wait to replay it once some time had passed and i am also incredibly excited about the future routes and all the things that they will uncover.

Thank you for such a detailed, full of love and admiration review!

We really appreciate your thoughtful approach to the walkthrough of the game and are glad that you appreciated our dangerous decision not to make an official walkthrough.

Thank you for appreciating our hard work in terms of visual. Our artist is incredibly flattered that you have noted and highlighted such seemingly inconspicuous things as the constant change of emotions.

We are very pleased that you supported and highly appreciated our improvements from the demo version. This was not an easy decision for us.

Such great reviews can't be too long :3

We are happy to work on new routes for wonderful players like you, who are so open, attentive and generously sharing their emotions.
