Thanks! I was actually thinking of rewriting the game in c and allegro 5! I also saw the potential of adding a level editor after playtesting it with someone! I will try to simplify the controls if I ever try to rewrite it!
maybe have an ui on the side, showing which mode your currently in and like the controls in the bottom right for example
