Overall a very nice entry! Short and simple but I still had some fun with it! Nice use of the dialog as a tutorial too :)
As for my feedback, there was a bug with weapon aiming (not sure what caused it though) and while I still enjoyed the game, I found it a bit too easy. The dialog told you where to look for items. Maybe if the player was left to explore and find the item required to progress, it would be more challenging. That's only my take on this however, and I still had fun fighting the enemies which provided a good enough challenge for a game jam entry.
Otherwise great job! Keep it up :)
