Not possible unfortunately as future enemies would have to support this behavior. We thought it would be cleaner to just go with what we want the game to be going forward.
We're currently working on an overhaul of the game with the updated tilesets and some other stuff, as well as the removed stunning/grapple mechanic. I will release a new public demo when that work is done to better reflect what you get on Patreon. ^^
