This was a really cool puzzle mechanic you thought of! I would love to see it implemented in different ways. You could create smaller levels with some established tiles already and have X turns to generate X money, or reach X generation in one turn, or convert all tiles from desert to forest, etc. The list of puzzle possibilities are endless!

It could use some sound effects and some relaxing music, but that's a given! Great job for 48 hours! You should definitely consider polishing it up after the jam!

Thank you for those nice words. I didn't really plan to continue the project afterwards, but your idea of smaller levels and actually using the mechanic in more planned puzzles seems like a really good idea. So I might continue.

Haha, yeah I am in the same boat (pun not intended xD) with my submission. It looks like you've got most of the mechanics you'd need already to do it though. But also I understand that sometimes when you code things without the intent of going back to them, and you are pressed for time, and best practices get tossed out the window, going back can be more trouble than its worth lol

Either way, from one newish competent indie game dev to another, I am excited to see what you roll out in the future!
