I think it's quite an innovative and clever idea! I like that you have to take care of the other character to prevent them from getting hit, but also your current character to get heals. I think I would've liked to be able to move the characters around a little by just moving the cursor because all the controls combined are a tad bit to learn at the beginning. Really well designed and implemented!
