Really clever and carefully thought out puzzles! The character is very cute, and I really love the ambient music and sound effects as well. The puzzles are challenging but fair, and it's really rewarding when you get it. Good job!

Fun game and quite challenging. Interesting concept of combining mechanical skills with puzzles. I really like the music of the Maze level. Great work!

I'm really appreciative that you took your time to embrace the challenge, that's exactly what I'd hoped to achieve with this game! The stair steps were my favorite part too! If you're lucky you could get in sync with the background music when the marimba goes up note by note, I just found that a little satisfying. Thank you for playing and your comment! I'm very glad someone else got the parts that I enjoyed making.

I had a really fun time! Thanks for putting in effort for the narration, it really made the game fun even though it's short! I like the idea of giving the player options to choose their play style. The music and sound effects fit the narration well. Artwork is solid. Overall just a really fun game! And yes I did have a good laugh. :)

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I do think the movement speed can be increased as well after playing it more.

Super cute art and music! I love the idea and I think aesthetically everything was very well put together. I'd really like to play this game more but I'm still not sure what the timing is after restarting many times! T.T I've read the description and tried the game many times, but it's quite unforgiving that if I miss 4-5 beats in the beginning then it's game over. Maybe a tutorial or some explanation the beginning would be nice, or maybe just clearer indication of when I'm supposed to hit the buttons.

Thanks for playing the game. Even if it's repeated feedback it's still helpful feedback. Thanks!

Fun game with clever puzzles! I really like the music and I think it fits really well with the game. I agree with the sentiment below about increasing friction of the characters. The visuals are simple but very effective. The color coding did confused me a little bit in the beginning, perhaps a tutorial would be nice!

Thanks for playing!

Good job on the game. Other than what others have said below, I think there's a small delay before the character starts to move. Sometimes I can't really jump the full height. It might just be WebGL as someone else has pointed out. Dying from the spikes feels a bit unfair because the hit box seems to be larger than the visual. Hope you get the chance to fix them after the game jam, otherwise thanks for making it!

Thanks for playing! I really appreciate it. :) I'm glad it worked out your spatial memory muscles a little bit too!

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing and giving feedback! I'll likely add a story mode after the game jam that allows the character to respawn somewhere closer to death instead of restarting the game. :)

Pretty fun game, I enjoyed playing this! I wish it was a bit easier to see the main monkey. Maybe take away the platforms during the boss too so that the player has to jump to avoid the bananas and not just stand on a higher platform.

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback.

I like the title pun, and I really love the hand drawn art style. The game is very well designed and implemented, and seems very polished as well. The music fits very well with the game. It's a game that's truly relaxing because it teaches you patience. Well done!

Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. And yes the font will be the first to go!

Haha, the art and music are too deceptive! I did intend for it to be a hard game, but I agree that if there were earlier smaller levels to ease into it it would've been less overwhelming. I'll definitely keep that in mind for my next project. Having a separate interact button is also a great idea and only showing the transition for the first time are great ideas. Thank you for your feedback!

I like the idea and the art style. The movement was unfortunately too painful to keep me motivated to learn and get past the second turret. Perhaps being able to change the length of the grapple after hooking can at least alleviate some of this pain.

Wholesome hairy dude friends. T.T I feel like all the characters really have personalities and it makes me feel like I want to be their friends too. The character movements remind me of Rainworld's spiders so I think I was subconsciously spooked at first but I grew really fond of moving it around. Moving around was fun, talking to friends was fun. I think this is one of the games during this game jam that I'd personally consider buying if it had a more fleshed out and full story.

Fun dialog! I agree with others that cooldown timers would be nice. I also feel like even with the extra powerups the only way I could win by absolutely giving all I had into spamming. Perhaps some sense of agency could be more satisfying for the player.

I'm glad you stepped out your comfort zone! Kudos! Love your game idea. Playing two characters at the same time works surprisingly well and it's actually really fun to control both characters at the same time running through different platforms. I can see this being a coop game as well but single player is fun too. The puzzles are interesting. The sound effects are unfortunately a little loud compared to the BGM, and maybe a less spooky BGM would've been more appropriate too. But great job overall!

I really enjoyed playing. I thought the difficulty level was very well tuned, and just a really fun game overall. I did think the music was a little out of place for some reason. I kind of expected some jump scare in the beginning because of the creepy music and graphics but the game turned out to be quite wholesome.

Thanks for playing the game for a while and I'm glad you enjoyed the mechanic. I did intend the second level to be main game, and I kinda intended for the game to be a wide  expanse of exploration map, but it needs a lot more tuning!

Amazing looking Earth. I really enjoyed exploring this world. I like that the indicator tells me the general direction of my goal, but I feel like I was able to get to it without any interaction with the alien planets. And once I'm facing the big guy it's hard to move out of the way while aiming at it, so I just end up spam clicking and hoping that it dies without me taking too much damage. Overall I think it's a fun game and I really appreciate just being able to move around without much hassle unlike a lot of space games.

The controls are buttery smooth! It's fun to move around and aim. I do wish that the enemies weren't so tough to kill right off the bat. :(

I was so spooked! But like others I didn't really know what I was supposed to do with the hearts.

Thank you for playing! Actually I even intentionally lengthened some cutscenes to make sure that the player knows that's unlocked, but sounds like that's probably not necessary. Thanks for your feedback. :)

Thanks for playing! I think I need to improve on making sure that the player doesn't accidentally bump into the same button after being unfrozen. And I'll definitely think about adding a checkpoint mechanism too.

Wow what amazing graphics. I love the blizzard and trail effects, that made me really enjoy walking in the snow. I ended up getting stuck among trees and at that point it was too difficult to get myself unstuck. I do think that a minimap of some sort would've encouraged me to go on and possibly help me not get stuck in the first place, but maybe that goes against what you intended for this game.

Thanks for playing and the compliment! I agree with you on the font. It was a pretty last minute find (another reason not to leave UI to the last minute), but enough people have expressed the same view that it needs to be replaced the first thing after this game jam. :)

It's a really fun game. The double jump feels good. The music is glitchy and cool. I got some glitchy horizontal lines effect and I'm not sure if it's intended but it does feel a little distracting. I'm not sure if I enjoyed the leap of faith that much, not sure if it's an intended feature, but I did end up missing a lot of jumps and retrying many times because I didn't memorize the locations of the platforms well enough.

Thank you for playing! I realized after the deadline that some jumps should definitely be made easier, and maybe a checkpoint somewhere would've been nice.

Such amazing quality in a week! It's a very original idea. The voice acting is incredible, and so is the backstory. The mechanics are very well thought out and designed. The music really fits the game well. I wish that I could switch to a different ghost with a key button instead of having to click it. The biggest issue for me was trying to click on the right object didn't really seem to work 100% of the time.

The controls feel pretty great and snappy! I quit the first time after getting stuck on the wall in the third map, I couldn't tell if I was supposed to wall jump. I wanted to go back and try again but unfortunately I seem to hit an issue where pressing any button doesn't start the game, and the text isn't flashing anymore (can't remember if it ever was).  The full screen mode also seems to cut off a bit of the map for me.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzles. Some of the sprites were actually from my archive so I didn't make them this week, I just edited my submission to be less misleading. I did make the music this week and for the first time in my life so I'm really glad people like it!

Fun idea! And really well polished for something made in a week! The art looks close to production level quality. At some point I think it got challenging really abruptly, and at that point it felt like there was nothing much I could except to struggling pointlessly and die. I think maybe more butter at that point could've helped keep the player stay engaged at that intensity level for a slightly longer period of time. Overall this was a really addictive game!
