Okay, fine, I'll do a bit of exegesis on Washy's words:
Some of the buttons on the dashboard are activated by doing Left Shift + Right Click on them, the others by placing the mouse over them and pressing Enter. As you seem to have already found out, the liquids can be moved using respectively qwsd and the direction keys.
(also, congrats on your washing machine operating skills!)
