Looks great, sounds great! The art is fantastic--are they based on your dnd characters? It's a sweet, charming story with appealing characters, and you created a complete narrative in just one weekend!

My only suggestions are just interface. I agree it was hard to tell who's talking--I would like to have a third text color for narration and a fourth color for other characters like the necromancer. Also, it felt inconsistent when the narration progressed on its own versus when the next line was presented as an option you had to click; I would save the choice buttons for when there's an actual choice with multiple options and have it progress on its own otherwise. But I definitely enjoyed it!

Thanks for the feedback! Indeed, there were a lot of problems with who's talking and we did some work after the jam to fix this, in the (slightly more) polished version. (Link for the slightly more polished version is in the game's description.) Now there is another colour for the necromancer, too!

And yes, you're right, having more options would have been ideal. But I'm still amazed by the amount of writing our 2 writers did. I guess there wasn't enough time to create more options.

(Sorry, I didn't mean it needed more options; the number of options is good, it's on par with VNs generally--I just mean that sometimes when there are a series of non-branching lines, they just automatically play one after another, and other times, there's a button with the next line on it that you click to continue advancing the story. I'd like it to either always require a button click to advance, or always advance automatically. Does that make sense?)

Oh, yes, I see. Instead of having one option that you _must_ click and then get the character repeat it... I see what you mean.

Thanks again!
