Awesome art as always, the title screen/shotgun barrel logo especially. I’m really impressed by the sounds in particular too this time. The atmosphere was really well done.
Notes:
- for how many SFX there were I wish there was something for each character during text. I’m torn on this because on one hand it’s less atmospheric but then again its a 1 bit game
- The night events were pretty funny. The first night I got “the zombies did not attack -> consider yourself lucky -> your son died -> don’t let that happen again” which, like, he’s already dead haha
- The choice events were really fun, but like i said above it was hard to pick up a theme of how things were going because of how varied they were
- I kept wishing I could skip ahead in the night sections and just read the text all at once
- The first time I encountered the crates was 3 in a row, so I kept pressing E and seeing “it’s locked” and moving on, and I had to walk away for a bit to realize I could shoot the lock because of the text speed
- the nightfall indicator is a bit misleading because it says “nightfall” on the bottom but the actual nightfall happens in the top left. Like it seems like it’s trying to indicate phases of the day but the bottom just says the one phase
