I have questions. Unfortunately, i do not deal very well with metaphors and allegories.

  1. Is the main story line what the forensic doctor gathers from the autopsy he performs on the victim?
  2. Seems like the escapist was involved in a kind of body-themed cult — “Venules”? Had to look up this one in the dictionary — just to escape from the “outside world”, hence “The Escapist”. Is this true? What’s the purpose of the cult?
  3. Does the last room have a path that leads to a different ending, or is the black space a symbolic representation of the corpe’s decay? I tried a couple of paths with no variation to the ending.

I really wish i could write like you do; i felt like i was reading a professional-level novel. Everything contributed to give the right atmosphere, and i specially liked the avatars of all the cult members that speak.

I'm so glad you liked my writing!! I've written a lot before, but I've never make a finished project with any of it so it means a lot to me that you enjoyed it. To answer your questions:

  1. Yes! The story isn't actually finished because we didn't have the time, but the idea is that you're meant to piece together the story as you play.
  2. This kind of has the same answer as the last question - you'll find out if you play the finished version :)
  3. You're right about the decay, but there's no other ending. Even the final game will only have one ending. I mean, they're already dead and you can't change the past, huh?

Hey, having played your game, I think you are too modest: your comical noir writing was hilarious. ;) Keep it up!
