I like this! Seeing the possible numbers listed (and being able to simply click them in the square itself) eliminates a lot of the tedious bits of regular Sudoku.
My one gripe is that the inconsistent line thickness of the big 9x9 boxes combined with the fairly chunky borders on the single cells makes it a little hard to tell at a glance where those 9x9s start and end. But I saw the note about updating the art style so I can't be too hard on it!

I have a different piece of feedback about how it can be frustrating to have to start the puzzle over from scratch if you fail. How did you feel if you ended up in a failure state?
I completely agree with the art. I quite literally just clipped it from Martin's video and will be replacing it this weekend if I can find time.
My main reason for publishing this is to get feedback towards a possible mobile release. I'm trying to figure out if it is fun, and if it would be fun to play for longer than a few minutes. The main conceit would be a single daily puzzle, with everyone around the world playing the same puzzle and able to compete on speed and lowest number of clicks.
(Plus the ability to play previous days, because one a day might be too limiting on it's own for some people)
I actually played just one round and managed to beat it first try, so I can't comment on how frustrating it would be to start over (yet). I think the fact it's beatable at all first try at all is a testament to how readily it can be picked up, though. I did wonder if there was a separate action to "collapse" a quantum state (as opposed to simply picking a number for it to become), but ultimately that didn't trip me up in the end.
I think this could be really good on mobile! A daily Quantum Sudoku would probably scratch the same sort of itch as Wordle, and I really do like that the interface eliminates obviously impossible options - it feels more casual than pen-and-paper Sudoku even if there is the possibility of collapsing a cell prematurely. Plus, if it's a daily puzzle, I'm not sure there's much call to play for more than a few minutes. The ability to play/replay previous days would certainly be welcome, though!
