I really enjoyed this. While the concept of the game was simple, the story kept me hooked for the entire game. I'm surprised you were able to fit in a completely different mechanic in the second half.
Fortunately for me, the gameplay mechanic we put into second level is something we already used in part in our twolast games, so I was in charted territory :)
