well this game is really rough, but I like the general concept. Can you explain the controls? How do I use my sword?

I'm standing right on top of the chicken and spamming the sword button but nothing is happening
Do you have the axe equiped?
Oh, the sword doesn't attack?
The sword button is just the harvest/attack button, but for some items in the map you need specific tools for it to work.
