Thank you very much for these comments, I really appreciate them! I fully agree about players changing their minds; in my intention, the initial choice is not preventing the heroes from changing path (in fact, I played this island twice - the first group went straight for peace, while the second started on the path of war and then switched halfway through and went for peace instead); I should have probably made this clearer in the description!
