The colors aren't feature, thanks for telling me this. I will add an optional high-contrast mode to the game. For the cannon, it will fire right away if you tap "Z" to take it out. Once it is out, tap "Z" to fire.
Does the new high-contrast mode help with the visibility issues? If I work on the game more, I will make the minigun's spin-up rate upgradeable, but at the moment, I feel that the spin-up makes it more balanced.
Any plans on making the powerup screen appear less frequently? It just halts the flow. Plus, making the selection of power with arrow keys would be quite helpful to players.
The frequency of the power-up screen has been mentioned by other people, I will make it appear less often in the next update. I also like the idea of selecting upgrades with the arrow keys. I will try to add that too.
