I think its nice that there are free versions. I get to try out the game and when I feel like it I can pay to support. Thats kind of what this website is about.
That's what OP is having issues with: they don't get the opportunity to try out the game first, due to them not having a pc/laptop, while everyone with a pc/laptop does. They find it unfair, and wish it was equal for all platforms.
