The programs are very different. There was a significant amount of work that went into (and is still going into) developing UVO. Where Optivox was a voxel modeler that had optimization methods, it was far too much work for me to do as one person, and I couldn't deliver that. UVO has completely different features and focuses much more on optimization of voxel models.

Secondly, everyone that had purchased Optivox directly received a key for a free version of UVO. For the people that received the key through bundles (of which I get no profit), it seems entitled to expect a new program when it was released months after they first received Optivox.

My case is indeed the bundle one. I saw this a long time ago and always had interest in the idea (found some similar tools back then just trying to compare to yours because I thought it was a very smart idea.)
I wouldn't have an issue with not getting a key through a bundle if it wasn't for the fact that there's nothing to download... There isn't a beta release, I can't access the website even for the demo, there's nothing.

So, I wouldn't call it entitlement to feel that the product I bought (even if it were in a bundle) should give me a product of some kind.

You can't actually download the program? Strange, I thought itch allowed the current owners to still download the files and just prevent new purchases.

I'll look into it, since the downloads should be available for people who already own it.

Anyone who has a key should now be able to download the program. I'd assumed that was the case anyway, but it should be fixed now.
