I'm stuck too... :( I thought the clue would be in the scrolling text section but nothing from that seems to work. Hopefully someone will figure it out and help us all.
(solution spoiler warning maybe ??) for anybody wondering and fretting like i was, the door opens automatically after a few failed password attempts !! :-) not sure if the game was previously this way
