1.) Did this happen again when you played it through a second time? Are you still able to move the mouse, etc., but it's just the game that freezes?
2.) Did you happen to leave the game open for some time before playing it again?
3.) Was this after you took the left or right path? And is this after the text "You can hear a faint noise to your right. Through the steam, you can see someone drawing nearer." ?
4.) Are you playing the game on the itch.io browser?
I've been trying to replicate it with different scenarios, but it's working on my end so far, so trying to figure out by elimination where the bug might be coming from. Could also be a memory issue - can you also try shift + F5 to get it to reload to its most recent version?
