It is really difficult to control the shotgun. I couldn't get past the first platform. The second platform stops exactly at the top height of the first one and I could only move horizontally once I got above the first platform.

The title screen is pretty and the visuals are actually pretty nice. The shotgun fire was a bit too simple but I felt it looked alright.

The story was sort of insane but I liked it!

The comical style of the game would benefit lots from a soundtrack and sound effects!

I liked that there was a reset option in case you got stuck, but I got stuck way too often, it wasn't very fun. The physics need some rework or perhaps adding more shots / reloading shots more often.

yeah, honestly I learned a lot from this jam about how to do level design (badly).

when testing the level I pretty early learned that the platforms are less than useless in actually progressing so I started doing a long jump with all 3 shots from the left corner all the way up.

Now I realize this should have been a red flag because it means the platforms are just going to mislead the player. But at the time it just felt like the player can also do the skip so it's fine.


As for the shotgun fire, there are so many good examples to learn from the other games. going moving projectile with a trail of smaller and smaller circles is 100% a more aesthetic way to go.
