At first I didn't understand how to play.

I still don't understand how to play, but oh boy, does it look and sound phenomenal!

Interacting with the game feels fun, and every action is properly rewarded in terms of audio and visual feedback. A real pleasure to play.

Thanks for trying out the game. Did you check out the "How to" on the page and in game? Any thoughts on how the tutorial can be improved content wise? Explaining card games can be tricky so wanna make sure we improve that based on feedback.

Thanks.

Oh, I checked the "How To" twice. It's a problem with me, most likely, not the game.

I'm used to MtG and Slay the Spire in terms of those games, and anything more complex than that, tend to be above my capacity.

I can't give any "meaningfull" feedback, as I don't understand the game, so it would be mostly talking out of my bumhole. But I can share my experience/opinion.

I liked sanity as a resource, I didn't like that you had to use all your cards to end the turn. I didn't feel like I had a say in how the game is played out, in general.

Great appreciate you providing feedback. I play MTG as well so I can understand the initial reaction to playing all cards in your hand.

The reason behind that is you are meant to buy cards from the 4 Attunement Card options on the right side. Those cost you Sanity and will go in your deck to add benefits to your play. However random Madness effects like Madness cards will also trigger and thus you are now forced to play the hand you are dealt. Strategy comes from mitigating the negative effects and capitalizing on the positive effects in your deck.

Hope that clears some things up from a logic perspective.
