Looks very nice! And you managed to implement quite a lot of different cards. Well done!

I have to say this is one of my favorite games in the entire jam! The card game is solid, the whole aspect of trying to gain the favor of the god's is awesome! The sound and music was great, I could see this game being developed into a commercial release easy! I would definitely love to see more added  to the different affinity ends, I think that would give it a bit more of juice! But overall great entry!

Happy to hear that you liked it. I feel the same, we certainly have a lot of ideas that had to go on the chopping block but could be incorporated into a larger project.

I normally avoid card games for the slog of rules and practise. But this was fast, fun, easy to learn - I really really enjoyed my time with this game and will definitely play it more in the future.

Thanks for the positive feedback! Check out the android builds. They work rather well for a quick port. If you have IOS then might look into porting to that if I can get my hands on an apple device to test.

Very impressive. The rules are easy to get a hang of.

The gameplay is a little tricky to follow, but the art is lovely, and I had fun clicking around in it.

At first I didn't understand how to play.

I still don't understand how to play, but oh boy, does it look and sound phenomenal!

Interacting with the game feels fun, and every action is properly rewarded in terms of audio and visual feedback. A real pleasure to play.

Thanks for trying out the game. Did you check out the "How to" on the page and in game? Any thoughts on how the tutorial can be improved content wise? Explaining card games can be tricky so wanna make sure we improve that based on feedback.

Thanks.

Oh, I checked the "How To" twice. It's a problem with me, most likely, not the game.

I'm used to MtG and Slay the Spire in terms of those games, and anything more complex than that, tend to be above my capacity.

I can't give any "meaningfull" feedback, as I don't understand the game, so it would be mostly talking out of my bumhole. But I can share my experience/opinion.

I liked sanity as a resource, I didn't like that you had to use all your cards to end the turn. I didn't feel like I had a say in how the game is played out, in general.

Developer

Great appreciate you providing feedback. I play MTG as well so I can understand the initial reaction to playing all cards in your hand.

The reason behind that is you are meant to buy cards from the 4 Attunement Card options on the right side. Those cost you Sanity and will go in your deck to add benefits to your play. However random Madness effects like Madness cards will also trigger and thus you are now forced to play the hand you are dealt. Strategy comes from mitigating the negative effects and capitalizing on the positive effects in your deck.

Hope that clears some things up from a logic perspective.

Everything looks and sounds great. First I was a bit overwhelmed by the "How to play" notes, but after a few practice games I quite enjoyed the gameplay. Maybe the tutorial could have been integrated into the gameplay somehow? In any case you have made an awesome game.

Thank you for the feedback, yes that was something we wanted to have time to implement but did not. However I hope to come back to it in a few days and see if we can make that quality of life improvement.
