The melee's reach is too short I think, but as for the blood projectile it comes with a high damage, and you can easily replenish it too so that's neat.
As for the level, checkpoints would be necessary, and somewhat, the level design feels a bit misleading at times due to the lack of walls that can be collided with altogether with the limitation of the camera. There are also some spots wherein you have to pause entirely before making the jump in order to avoid the spikes, so I guess the jump's strength was a little low too.
The controls are working fine, SFX is good, and it follows the limitation too.
