Fun game, reminds me of 90's 3D platformers for sure, also Yooka Laylee. I liked the music and the Sound FX, bright/happy stuff. I liked the main character's look, reminded me of Earthbound and also Claymates, a clay figure in general, pretty cool. I'm not sure if there was a run button, but if there isn't, maybe consider a run button. Also, I didn't know what the checkpoint was when I got to it, so I'd suggest adding an activation sound (like what plays when it is used) and also have it light up.
